The reason many homeowners opt to sell their property on their own is because the commissions due to Realtors for listing their property on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) seriously cuts into any profit they may have acquired.

The problem that you, as a homeowner, may have run into, is that the calls you tend to get from your newspaper ads typically are people who are not serious buyers, they are just browsing and may not be ready to purchase a new home yet.

The reason the Multiple Listing Service is so effective, is because when people are seriously looking for a property, they typically call a Realtor, and one of the primary sources a Realtor uses to find property for their buyers, is the MLS.

The Realtor goes online on the MLS (which is a live service, like the internet), they put in the parameters that the buyer is looking for, and all the homes that fit those parameters come up.

By using our service, if your home is sold through a Realtor seeing your home on the MLS and bringing you a buyer, then instead of paying a traditional full commission (that could range up to 6%), you only pay half the commission to the Realtor that brings the buyer.
